COMPLAINT:
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED TO MY FAMILY AFTER A 15 MINUTE ARGUMENT MY WIFE AND I GOT INTO ONE MORNING ON FEB. 20TH, 2007 AS PUT IN THIS E-MAIL I'VE SENT TO RALEIGH
Hi, my name is Gary M. McNabb. I am writing this letter today on behalf of my Wife ( Juliana ) and I, in hopes that it will reach someone who can help us. On Tuesday Feb. 20th, 2007 my wife and I got into a difference of opinion which inadvertently led to an argument ( A 15 Minute Argument ) that's all. It was after our daughter had went to school that
morning. So she wasn't even here to see the 15 Minute argument. But at the end of the argument when my wife went to back out of the driveway, I was leaning on the window to unlock the car door to let my Yorkshire Terrier out of the car and she already had it in reverse, when her foot hit the gas pedal by mistake, it of course jolted backwards a bit and busted the glass because I was leaning on it with all my weight trying to reach the door lock, anyway purely
accidental on both our parts and i replaced the glass the very next day ( $140.00 ). My daughter goes to school and tells someone about the 15 min argument her mother and I had the day before, which one of the teachers takes it upon herself to call DSS. And my daughter is removed from the home two days later ( Friday ). Now lets Recap a min, my Daughter is now not with her mother and I because of an argument her mother and I have while she wasn't even here then ( DSS ) put the incident about the car window down as sole reason for the removal of my daughter and she wasn't even here to witness it. And it was truly an accident, my wife has done testified to that fact. So now even though they don't even have a reason to be in our lives, they won't to stay here to just continue to try and split up my home and family disregarding why that institution was established in the first place not to tear families apart but to help them in time of need. WE DON"T NEED YOU GUYS IN OUR LIVES.Not to sound MEAN or RUDE but Jennifer ( My Daughter ) sees a psychiatrist Dr.Simpson who knows all about Jennifer's home life and if he would have seen it fit to have called DSS then I'm sure he would have. But alas he has not because that has
never been an issue with my family. We all Love each other and we don't need the world to come in and fix our problem's one day, and not offer to fix the rest and what I mean by that is that there are NO problems here that aren't in most other homes across this land and most of those people get to face their own problems everyday without DSS's help. And when they need help they sure don't call DSS. I SURE DON"T, AND WILL NEVER START. The only reason DSS is in our lives right now is because of a felonious phone call from a teacher that believed her, without even checking in with the parents of the minor child, who also suffers from a mental condition. That's why she goes to a psychiatrist. He also told us that Jennifer has a defiant disorder. And we have been having a little trouble out of her lately, but nothing to write home about, just listening problems, nothing more. She's a teenager, she's still growing up. Even my daughter told me that when she said something at school, she didn't realize what it was gonna cause. It took her by surprise as well. I have one child already in College at UNC Chapel Hill, Looks like I did alright by him and Jennifer was raised by the same set of standards,morals and values that he was, all of them. From my parents to Julie's parents to my brother's and sister and all their spouses and children can say with conviction, THAT I AM A GREAT FATHER, AND JULIE"S A GREAT MOTHER. For crying out loud Julie and I are the babysitters of the family, when someone needs a babysitter they call us first because WE"VE DONE SUCH A GREAT JOB RAISING OUR CHILDREN. Julie and I have been married longer than anybody else in our families except our own parents, and our kids are the oldest as well. If we've done such a bad job raising our children wouldn't somebody have said something before now instead of all the praise we've gotten. I just recently went back to work as a CNC LASER PROGRAMMER/OPERATOR, I'm a Class A Machinist,A Computer System Builder and do PC repair work. I've taught myself to write C,C++ and C++ Visual Basic 6.0 so I could write my own computer programs, I'm a Webmaster and can write
HTML,The last programming language I taught myself I did so in 12 Hours for the 3-D Space Simulation Program called ( Celestia ) I write interactive tours for this program. An interactive simulator that puts you out in space in real time and 3-D,I'm also an Amatuer Astronomer. I have tried to make clear the importance of an education to my children all their lives, that's why my son got a FULL SCHOLARSHIP TO UNC CHAPEL HILL. He's a real genius. Now do you honestly think he would have made it that far with nothing but terrible role models in his life, like a parent who hit him or one that causes mental or emotional distress. Never Happened. Not in his lifetime. My kids have been almost ideal when it comes to parents wanting well behaved and well mannered children, can't count the compliments I've gotten over the years. They say if you see a child acting out, don't blame the child, blame the parents for what they did or didn't teach the child, that works both ways if children act extremely well, THANK the parents,NOT condemn the PARENTS for the great job they've done, and that's what's happening here in "THIS SITUATION", We feel like we aren't getting the praise we deserve for doing the great job we have from DSS. That's my kids for you,always courteous,polite and respectful of others around them, really have done a great job or so I think, and everyone else who knows me.
Anyway just want to say that there wasn't any substantial reason for my family to have
been ripped apart by you guys while you stand back shouting " But Were Doing It In The Name Of Goodness" I need someone to see the terrible mistake that was made and correct it immediately. On Behalf of My Family and I We thank You For Listening, But I will not comply with the assessment It's Not True, Hope it don't have to go to court.
